How to Cook
Chef Hugh Acheson’s latest, inspired by his two teen-aged daughters, is intended for beginner cooks of all stripes and demystifies ‘fancy’ food. His book focuses on the ‘Building Blocks’ of 25 basic techniques that are then utilized at the back in more ‘chef-y’ recipes.
I drew a lot of illustrated arrows and hand lettering (even for the footnotes icons!) to engage the reader and draw them in.
This is a profoundly user-friendly book by noted chef Hugh Acheson…I have already perfected my cole slaw game! Thanks, Chef.
